KL-GeoCoder is a small and useful tool for converting your address data into geographical coordinates.
Geocoding is the basis for provision of location based services like Logistic services, location based Internet services, cartographical services, cartographic descriptions on your website etc...
Furthermore you can calculate the distance between 2 coordinates(also in Batch mode) and convert your existing csv files including addresses and coordinates into kml files, which can be viewed with Google Earth. You can do all this on your local computer without uploading your confidential data to someones web service.
